• Why did an article by the Daily Chain covering DIGITALAX feature a stock image cover?
In non-sponsored, unpaid articles and publications (i.e. the story is taken onboard and released on the authors/writers whim) more often than not nothing is sent for review before publishing. Why? Because the included content is not finalised or vetted by the projects, individuals or companies mentioned or covered in the article. That’s just how it works. It ensures the fidelity of the intent of the author’s voice is maintained throughout.
• Why is there so much spam bots in the DIGITALAX discord server?
Ok, I know this isn’t the most interesting question. But, we did receive a lot of comment on this topic this week, and rightfully so, as our server did get spammed by bots a lot. Like, really a lot… almost every 5–6 hours. Thank you Francis Rodgers.
Not to worry, we have implemented a server verification system, so it’s almost guaranteed that this won’t happen again. Shoutout to our community moderator Hary!
Like any industry or market, there are good sides and then there are not so good sides. This directly translates to the gaming and modding industry, where exploitation, malpractice and inequality is rife. A darker side to this industry, however, that is unknown to many, or, more accurately, is deliberately kept more covered up and shadowed is that of the skin gambling scene.
It is ultimately one of the larger contributing factors from 2016 that has made CSGO skins so popular and valuable still to this day. But, the market is mostly built to take advantage of 13–14 year old kids that are pulled in after watching rigged epic wins on YouTube, and then proceed to just waste their parents money. The market is extremely accessible, yet heavily unregulated, making it the perfect addiction development complex and giving false framing as a “means to make money”.
With the gaming and modding community as a fundamental pillar of DIGITALAX, it is an area that we also have to maintain awareness of in our pursuit of the bigger mission.
There have been a lot of improvements made to try and tackle the issues that were fostered back in 2016, with Valve introducing a 7 days trade-hold to reduce the mindless purchasing of items purely for the purpose of gambling. And, active voices have stepped in to bring about more transparency and legitimacy to the activity— requiring players to verify their age (Above 18 years or older) and introducing account “self-locks” for those that feel a potential addiction is too much of a detrimental high risk. It’s not perfect, but it is moving towards a better direction. And, completely il-legitimising/banning never works, actually, it just results in a strengthened level of underground shadow play. There are too many examples of this throughout history, time and time again.
Of these more transparent voices, one deserves a special mention. Going by the twitter name, Monarch , you can take a scroll through his feed and see how him and his team, who run one of the CSGO gambling sites, is leading the charge towards making the scene more fair, regulated, legal, and transparent.
Here is a leading tweet for more context;

Well… I mean… where to even start with this one.
But, you never know, maybe this is another vital component as part of the pursuit towards establishing us humans as a multi-planetary species? 🤔🤔🪐
After all, it is described as enabling Seamless Transactions designed for Martian Life.
