• Where is the money coming from?
A great question that doesn’t just apply to DeFi.
Whether we are looking at the NFT market, web3 as a whole, or, the broader global economy, there’s a lot of confusion and sleight of hand about where money flows from and how it is generated. This can become even more confusing for some who have gotten conditioned to believe content and culture are where value gets locked down or goes to die, rather than understanding the critical role creative communication of ideas, know-how and all forms of information plays in facilitating distribution for what is produced.
In turbulent times like these, it becomes even more critical for re-establishments of previously violated creative rights, like CC0, to be well understood as mediums or mechanisms for maximising distribution reach and success.
The money in well engineered, good faith projects, products and services comes from gains in coordination efficiency, energy efficiency, engineering quality, streamlined logistics, more flexible and composable forms of ownership and in all ways better matching up the desires and needs of producers and consumers.

Maybe some of us were still hopeful that there would be some humility or presence of mind on the part of a project leader that from most points of view looks a lot like a huckster in chief, but no.
Despite the massive loss of wealth and livelihoods for those that probably should have thought twice before believing in him, he’s rolling out Luna 2.0 with shocking confidence.
I get the desire to get back up and start rebuilding after a bad fall. But this clearly isn’t that.
