What failed FEI and almost all other “decentralised algo” stablecoins so far is that they haven’t solved the big question: Where does stability actually come from?
With the latest Maker drama, we’ll have to see whether they can do any better.
Silly Fails and Trolling
If it is true, is it really that surprising? And if it isn’t, you really have to wonder about what it says about where crypto and the world is at as a whole for that fact that we’re so ready to believe something like this.
The last few years sure have eroded a whole lot of trust. It’s a shame that we don’t have more robust systems for trustless coordination… yet.
