Top Question of the Week

When the fear, uncertainty, and doubt index starts to spike once again a fair question rises to the top of many minds: Is the market we’re in, or the global economy in its entirety, a game of chance or a game of skill?

Well, that depends. Which economy?

Web3, when you really get it, is a game of skill. Same is true with CC0.

A game is no more & no less than a loop of steps that repeat, with or without a limit, giving us a model to practice & explore any kind of activity

Machines are games. Software programs are games. Video games are obviously games.

The creative economy is also a game, with base rules that change a lot thanks to CC0…

When the quality of the work you do matters more to the outcome of a game than however much it involves elements of chance, that’s when it’s useful to describe that game as skills based

Web3, NFTs & CC0 give creators new ways to monetize our skills through content, instead of locking down & limiting the reach of content itself…

Most Common Repeat Question

How do you survive an everythingmarket crash?

You don’t. Cause we aren’t in one.

It’s a crunch, not a crash.

We’re now in the advanced early stages of an everything omnicrunch. What better time than now to recogmize the real reasons why?

On top of the obvious shortfalls in supply unable to keep up with structurally accelerating demand, there’s an underlying global reorganization of what gets made, how well, for how much, and where.

How to make it in an everything crunch, using web3, NFTs, and CC0 will remain the question of the day for many years to come.

Top Controversies

Turns out, a pretty loud handful of the open source and web2 tech community alongside leading authors and advocates who share their views were never really in favour of open networks or against closed societies and arbitrary bans of critical reasoning skills. They are just a different flavour of the same bullshit league of pseudo totalitarian teams.

This week’s top controversy is just a deeply disappointing joke.

Silly Fails and Trolling

Bans like these show you don’t know enough to hold office. They are a radical abuse of power and do far more to harm global climate and the socioeconomic wellbeing of constituents. Math is the best source of solutions we have. Stop trying to ban it.
